The Dawg Walker (formerly known as Tails 2 Trails) opened its doors back in 2013 when we saw a need for quality and reliable pet care right here in our hometown. Having over 15 + years experience in the pet industry, we wanted to share our knowledge and passion with our community and its furry citizens that we love! We offer a variety of pet care services including dog walking, kitty visits, pet sitting, small critter care, and pet portrait photography.
Having acquired extensive knowledge in canine & feline nutrition, natural pet care, pet safety, basic training, small animal, reptile care, & fish care, we are confident that we can serve you and your pets specific needs.

Meet Kate!
Kate founded “The Dawg Walker” back in 2013. She has over 15 years of experience in the pet care industry and over 10 years as a dog walker & pet sitter exclusively. Kate also specializes in small animal, reptile, and fish care. She has owned almost every animal you can think of from cats and dogs to snakes and ferrets (and everything in between.) Her love and passion for all living creatures started as a young child and only continues to grow by the day. If you have a question regarding just about any animal, just ask Kate! She is always there to lend a helping hand.
Kate currently lives in her hometown of Arlington Heights with her two Shih Tzus, Chuck & Trudy.
Meet Mia!
Mia joined The Dawg Walker in 2019, but is not new to the pet care industry. She managed a Natural Pet Care company for 8 years and developed a passion for pet nutrition and natural medicine. As well as having a love for animals, Mia is also a professional photographer specializing in family and pet portraits.
Mia currently lives in her hometown of Arlington Heights with her three dogs; Sheebs the Shiba Inu, Quinn the Pomeranian, and Fazi the Shih Tzu.
